Doesnt look like much in beautiful Los Angeles home?

I know what you're thinking. Why was that drywall removed?? This client experienced a water damage and had extreme flooding in the home. The water was extracted and the problem was solved, right? Unfortunately, while the water may no longer be visible, water has unique migration traits. Water can be absorbed into almost every porous substance! So, for example, the drywall, boards, and even subflooring in these photos had been completely saturated with water. With very specialty equipment, we were able to remove the moisture from the hard to reach places by simply removing the outer layer of drywall! We were able to save the entirety of the structure and all inner materials by using this drying method!
