Lifting Wood Caused By Water

This Los Angeles home obtained a water leak coming from a broken AC unit. The water traveled into the floor and unfortunately caused lifting in the wooden floor. While our team always aims to save and dry all items in place, when extreme saturation occurs and items begin to become a hazard, we prioritize safety and move to removing those items. While the hardwood flooring needed to be removed, the remaining affected materials were able to be dried in place. As it may be preferential as a homeowner to have items dried in place, in certain circumstances it is more important to value safety over the value of the item. We helped save this family from an otherwise large tripping hazard.
