How to evacuate a Fire!

Home fires, no matter what caused them, can be extremely scary. But keep calm, and learn what to do if a fire happens in your home. This is how to get everyone out safely and as soon as possible.
The very first thing you need to do is alert everyone, but make sure not to panic. If there’s a kitchen fire, or if an electrical failure caused a fire, alert everyone as soon as you see it or sense the smoke.
Once everyone is aware, follow the escape plan you had when you learned how to be prepared for a fire. It’s extremely important you know the best route out of the house and guide everyone out as quickly as possible.
While you’re heading out, remember not to go back or delay to look for material things, go to the door and get out. In case you can’t walk, or can’t see due to the smoke damage, crawl to the floor and move like that until you reach the door.
Again, if by any chances you’re caught on fire, remember to immediately stop, drop and roll to stop your clothes from burning and getting bad burn injuries on your body. Once you’re out, count everyone to make sure you are all safe.
Last, but not least, call 911 as soon as you have the chance. Don’t try to investigate the fire or go back in for personal belongings for any reason.
