Small fires don’t stop when you extinguish them away. Sure, the fire is gone, but the smoke, heat, and ashes can cause just as many problems to your house, turning a small fire into major damages.
For example, small fires can leave big marks on your walls, floors, and ceilings due to the heat coming from the flames. These types of marks are usually black and are extremely hard to remove.
Not only that, the smoke and ashes from a small fire can damage your electronics. Actually, smoke can get into electronic devices, causing them to malfunction and even cause the circuits to fail.
More so, the heat itself can melt objects that the fire didn’t get to touch. This includes electric outlets, electronics, clothes… Whatever was near the small fire at the moment it happened. Not to mention the smoke and burnt odor that can stay in your house for days, weeks, or months.
Asmall fire can be the cause of major damages around your house, even after the fire itself has been put away. Because of this, it is important to have your property checked, even if there is not substantial visual damage, by a professional!
